The MEAL Officer will implement and manage our projects'
monitoring and evaluation framework. This role is central and directly reports
to the deputy executive director
for research to ensure that the
organisation’s activities achieve the desired impact and are accountable to our
stakeholders. The MEAL Officer will work closely
with research teams to design M&E tools, collect and analyse data, and report on project outcomes.
DUTIES:
- Work with the consulting team to develop and implement a comprehensive M&E framework that aligns with both organisational and donor requirements.
- Design and maintain M&E tools and systems, including data collection methods and databases.
- Coordinate and conduct regular monitoring activities to ensure project compliance with agreed standards and objectives.
- Join field visits to collect data on project activities when necessary.
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and disseminate clear and concise M&E reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support project staff using M&E findings to refine and adjust project activities.
- Provide training and capacity building for staff on M&E principles and practices.
- Ensure learning from projects is captured, and feedback is included in the project cycle for continuous improvement.
- Liaise with donors and stakeholders to meet reporting requirements and communicate the impact of the organisation’s work.
- Other tasks as assigned by the line manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, Public Health, etc.).
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a research or non-profit setting.
- Strong understanding of M&E methodologies and frameworks and experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Advanced analytical skills and experience with statistical software (e.g.SPSS, STATA) and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
- Ability to design M&E tools and systems and to collect, manage, analyse and present data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of project management principles and experience working with diverse teams.
- Willingness to travel to project sites, if required.

The HR Assistant is responsible for assisting
and supporting work as a connection between the HR management and
staff in accomplishing assigned tasks. As an HR Assistant, you will be a part of our admin and
operations unit, which works to implement human resource activities and
objectives, generate an organisational culture focused on employee well-being
and improved quality of work, maintain accurate records, and ensure activities and objectives. S/he will contribute to the achievement of
CDRI's mission and strategic plan objectives by performing the following
duties:
DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the hiring manager in sourcing candidates and updating the staff database
- Work with the Communication and Impact Unit to post jobs on social networks, such as LinkedIn,
- Update employee records for existing employees, such as promotion, termination, and change of address.
- Keep employee files confidential (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.).
- Assist line manager in recruitment processes
- Assist in updating staff manual and orientation tool kids and procedures documents for newly hired employees.
- Process documentation and assist the HR team with staff clearance and benefits
- Assist in response to staff requests and provide relevant information about human resources issues, rules and regulations.
- Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
- Keep track of staff movement for clearance and handover.
- Provide relevant data, such as absences, holidays, sick leaves, and bonuses, to keep track and update.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Bachelor’s in HR, management, or a related field.
- Minimum three years of experience as an HR Assistant or
relevant field.
- Certification or diploma in fields such as Professional
Human Resources
- Strong communication of verbal and written English language and
people skills
- Ability to handle challenges and overcome them using

- Comprehensive knowledge and skills in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in analytical software, including STATA, R, MATLAB, Nvivo, etc.
- Commitment to mentoring and professional development of young researchers.
- Abilities to communicate findings and strong communication skills in English and Khmer, both oral and written.
- Proven track record of policy and academic research publications.
- Experience with research grant writing.
